With their soft texture, rich dairy filling, and elegant folded shape, these pastries are a staple in Hungarian bakeries and homemade family recipes.

What Is Túrós Batyu?

Túrós Batyu translates to "Cottage Cheese Bundle" in Hungarian. It is a traditional pastry made from enriched yeast dough filled with sweetened cottage cheese (or farmer's cheese), often enhanced with vanilla, lemon zest, and raisins. The dough is folded into small bundles before baking until beautifully golden.

The result is a soft, fluffy pastry with a creamy, slightly tangy filling that melts in your mouth.
